Ireland Trusted Partner Initiative

Overview

Companies and contractors looking to employ overseas citizens may apply for Trusted Partner Status.

Companies that hold trusted partner status are granted privileges that allow their employment permit applications to be processed significantly faster that under the standard permit processing time guidelines. This is of significant benefit to companies who are looking to secure permits for more than one applicant and/or for companies looking to get applicants into Ireland quickly to begin work.

Visa First has worked closely with the DJEI to submit decision ready trusted partner applications for large a number of companies in Ireland since the initiative started.

How Will Visa First Help You Earn the Trusted Partner Status

Visa First has successfully processed a number of applications since the start of the initiative, May 2015. Our migration law specialists will handle your company’s application paying attention to each of the requirements the DJEI has.
We will

• assist in the preparation of the trusted partner application, ensuring it is prepared correctly;
• review and advise on amendments of supporting documentation;
• submit the completed application, ensuring it complies with current legislation;
• follow up with the DJEI on any queries or additional documentation requests. We have been processing Intra-Company Transfer Permits, which is often the next step for global corporations relocating employees.
